You can now take greater control of your post visibility and engagement with Audience Targeting in Social Champ. This feature allows you to fine-tune who sees your content, helping you reach a more relevant audience and improve engagement based on your campaign goals.
Let’s see how it works:
Facebook Posts: Audience Targeting
- Log in to your Social Champ account and select your Facebook Page. Then create a new post.

- Scroll down to the Facebook post options and click on the Create Audience button.

- You can find two options, using which you can set the target audience,
a. Preferred: Preferred is reach the people most likely to engage with your post. Here you can select the location, Age range, Gender, Language, Interests, relationship status and Education Status.

b. Restricted: Limit who can see this post by location age or language.

- Once everything is set, choose your preferred time and schedule your post so it reaches your targeted audience at the right moment.

That’s it! Your post will now be optimised to reach a more relevant and engaged audience.
LinkedIn Organic Posts: Audience Targeting by Segment
LinkedIn Page posts support their own audience targeting too, so you can reach followers by segment.
- Log in to your Social Champ account, select your LinkedIn Page, and create a new post. Scroll down to LinkedIn Options.

- Under Targeting, click on Add button against Page audience to open the LinkedIn audience targeting panel.

- In the LinkedIn audience window, use the Geography search bar to find and add the countries, regions, or cities you want your post to reach. Each location you add appears as a removable tag.
- Social Champ checks your Audience by Page eligibility automatically. Each selected Page needs more than 300 matching followers in the chosen geography for targeting to apply, the panel shows a live readiness status (e.g., “1 of 1 ready”) along with the matching follower count for each Page.

- Once you’re happy with your selection, click Apply audience to save your targeting settings.
You can also Edit, the Audience at this point.

- Finish setting up the rest of your post (media, first comment, scheduling) and publish or schedule as usual. Your post will only be shown to the Page followers within the geography you selected.
Note: LinkedIn’s targeting API for Company Pages currently supports geography-based targeting (country, region, or city).
That’s it! Your LinkedIn Page post will now be optimised to reach a more relevant, geography-targeted audience.
