With Social Champ, you can now schedule your Shorts effortlessly, customize important video settings, and stay consistent with your content strategy — all from one easy-to-use dashboard!
Follow this simple guide to upload, optimize, and schedule your YouTube Shorts without any hassle. Let’s get started!
Log in to Social Champ.
- Once you log in you will land on Content Publish dashboard.
Select Your YouTube Channel and Compose Your Post.
- Use the top dropdown to select the YouTube account you want to publish to.
- Write your video title (Tip: Add #Shorts to boost discoverability).
- (Optional) Add a first comment — it will auto-publish with your video.
Upload Your Video.
- Click on “Add Media” to upload your Short.
Set Video Format Requirements.
Make sure your video meets the following criteria:
- Length: 5 to 60 seconds
- Format: Vertical (9:16 aspect ratio)
Choose the Correct Post Type.
After the video uploads, you’ll see two post type options:
- ✅ Video
- ✅ Shorts
→ Be sure to select “Shorts” to properly categorize your content.
- Customize Your YouTube Post Settings:
You’ll have additional options to configure, including:- Privacy Status: Set your video as Public, Private, or Unlisted.
- Category (Optional): Choose a video category.
- Playlist (Optional): Add the Short to a playlist.
- Video Tags: Add keywords separated by commas (up to 500 characters).
- License (Optional): Choose the license type (Standard YouTube License or Creative Commons).
- Embeddable: Toggle if your video can be embedded.
- Notify Subscribers: Choose whether to notify your subscribers.
- Made for Kids: Mark if the content is made for children, as required by YouTube.
- Schedule or Post Immediately.
Once everything looks good, simply Schedule your Short for the best time or Post Now!
